Akibat Curah Hujan Tinggi, Gudang Logistik KPU Tergenang Air

KOTA BEKASI - Naas, gudang logistik Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kota Bekasi yang berada di wilayah Bekasi Utara tergenang air akibat curah hujan tinggi terjadi sore ini, Selasa (9/1/2024).

Ketua KPU Kota Bekasi, Ali Syaifa mengatakan genangan air yang ada dilokasi tersebut tejadi dalam kurun waktu 60 menit. Namun selama hal itu terjadi, pihaknya sudah melakukan antisipasi dengan menaikan kotak suara serta kertas suara ke atas kayu pallet.

"Kami juga mengantisipasi, khawatir ada luapan air dan lain sebagainya. Dan seluruh logistik Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) 2024 sudah aman semuanya, tidak ada yang rusak dan basah,"kata Ali Syaifa saat ditemui di gudang logistik.

Lebih lanjut, Ali menyatakan bahwa sumber air yang menggenangi gudang logistik tersebut berasal dari saluran air yang diduga tidak mengalir lancar.

"Sumber air yang kami ketahui bukan dari kebocoran atap, melainkan sumber air dari saluran air yang mungkin tidak lancar sehingga naik ke atas," ucapnya.

Lebih lanjut, Ali pun mengatakan untuk gudang logistik yang berada diwilayah Padurenan terlihat aman dan tidak ada genangan air.

"Gudang diwilayah Padurenan situasi dan kondisinya sangan aman dan kami sudah mengecek. Kami pun sudah berkoordinasi dengan Pemerintah Kota Bekasi untuk penanganan hal tersebut," tutupnya.
